A few years ago, a young couple toured a showcase home I had completed. They picked up my card, saving it for the day they were ready to hire an interior designer to guide them through the process of decorating their home. Over time, we've worked through three homes, from Charlotte to Cleveland and back, each time honoring their favorite color palette and classic style.
In this latest project, we brought in several local artists, Libby Smart and Summer Savin, to add some modern layers. The abstract pieces push the edges a little and our clients have been enjoying these commissions. We also added several furniture pieces to infuse clean lines, while incorporating existing furnishings, freshened with new upholstery. We styled bookcases with additional art, this time from another local painter, Shannon Woodford. Flowers can be on canvases as well as in a vase!
From the entry to the living area and open kitchen/breakfast spaces, to the dining room, the scullery and the mud entry, we've woven thoughtful design details throughout. We're excited to still be working on other areas and we'll share more of our home tour, when completed. Aside from referrals, repeat client work is a beautiful testimonial to the trust in our abilities and in our service.
